Hi, purchased my watch 3 weeks ago Mainly for the golf GPS which is excellent. I also train quite alot but the only time the heart rate monitor seems accurate is when I go a run out doors. I do alot of HIIT training and I know from previous bands I've had my heart rate gets up to zone 4 or 5 160-180 for probably half of the time trained.
The heart rate sensor on the Vivoactive 3 follows that of the Fenix 5 and other 2017 watches, which records your heart rate at 1-second intervals constantly. This is a change from 2016 and previous watches, which were far less frequent (up to gaps of hours sometimes).
Steps and heart rate have stopped working. I have restarted my vivoactive 4s multiple times. I also made sure that the activity settings are still on. I've only had the V4s for 6 days and its already stopped tracking my steps and the heart rate has stopped working. Please help.
This is not a question or a request for support. Actually this is a how to. Iāve had previously a discussion with Zwift support and also on other forums, but didnāt received any clear answers. So, it might be that this could be helpful for other people with Garmin watches that would like to use it for heart rate data on Zwift instead of purchasing chest strap. Steps on how to broadcast
I've been the owner of a Vivoactive HR for about 3 weeks now. I updated from a Fitbit Blaze which I used for about a year. For the first week the Vivoactive HR heart rate readings were wildly inaccurate. Exercises that I knew were in the 120-150 beats per minute zone were reporting 80 beats per minute.
. Garmin first measures heart-rate variability, which it can do on the Vivoactive 3 and any other device with a wrist-based heart-rate monitor by simply detecting each heart-beat and keeping track of the precise periods between each one.
Same issue. Last night is suddenly went from 27% to dead, recharged it, and now the heart rate is not working, it wont connect to the phone, and the step count is frozen. I just sent mine off to Garmin via RMA. They wanted to figure out what's going on. you might need to do the same.
Bring the device within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor. NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other ANTā+ sensors while pairing. Select the action key. Select Settings > Sensors > Add New. Select Search All. Select your sensor type. After the sensor is paired with your device, the sensor status changes from Searching to Connected.
Hi, I got Vivoactive 3 Music just a couple of days ago. Everything was fine but now the Abnormal Heart Rate alert has started to go on at random. It does this at least once in 30minutes and I can see that there has been a spike on the HR. This is starting to get annoying and I have to turn off the feature because of this.
6407124 over 2 years ago. After the most recent update the heart rate monitor stopped working. I went into settings and made sure all options were selected, answering yes to broadcasting. The heart rate monitor started to work but all the watch displayed was my heart rate, I could not get back to the watch face without turning the broadcast off!!
