I have been away for a while, and when I have started the C4 Grand Picasso 2014 back up, the Brake light is flashing in the dash. And when I try and drive off the brake will not release. I tried pressing the Electronic Brake button and it just starts flashing. Do I have a faulty brake switch in the dashboard or are my brakes jammed? Welcome along! It's likely that one (or more) of the wires to one (or both!) of the handbrake motors has rubbed / rotted through on the inside of the ducting. As these are electric if it has failed in the 'on' position, then the only way to get it off
